The Alicante Provincial Auditorium “ADDA” is located in the heart of Alicante's capital and has become one of the city’s architectural icons. It is a building with a modern design and clean lines, featuring a solid, imposing exterior. The texture and color of the exterior materials, such as the whiteness of the limestone, are emblematic of our popular local architecture.
The building is organized around a large, triple-height hall centered on the foyer on the ground floor, which serves as its central hub. A main corridor runs along the back of this hall, spanning the building from north to south on all levels, connecting private areas (administrative and artists’ spaces) with public spaces.
The choice of materials for the finishes reflects the colors and materials typical of the performing arts scene: black and white, representing the attire of artists or the keys of a piano; wood and copper, as found in musical instruments.
The ADDA offers 10 rooms with a total of 28,580 square meters.
