Chianiotis Antonis graduated from the School of Dentistry at the University of Athens, Greece (1998). In 2003, he completed the three-year postgraduate program in Endodontics at the School of Dentistry, University of Athens.
Since 2003, he has owned a private practice in Athens, Greece, exclusively dedicated to microscopic Endodontics. Over the past ten years, he has worked as a clinical instructor in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the Endodontics Department at the University of Athens School of Dentistry.
In 2012, he earned the title of Associate Clinical Professor at Warwick University, Warwick Dental School, in the United Kingdom. He has lectured nationally and internationally and published articles in local and international journals.
In 2015, he introduced a novel technique for managing highly curved root canals, and in 2022, he was invited to publish a narrative review in the International Endodontic Journal on the management of curved and calcified canals. This review is among the top five most downloaded articles from that journal.
He is currently a member of the Hellenic Association of Endodontists (a member society of the ESE), the national representative of the Hellenic Association of Endodontists to the ESE, a certified member of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), and an international specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE).
Recently, he was elected as the representative of certified members of the European Society of Endodontology.
